mindspan helps you understand the biology behind how your brain carries you through daily life. We take your privacy seriously, and we wrote this in plain language so you can actually read it.
Who we are
mindspan ("mindspan," "we," "us") operates the website at mindspan.ai and the related waitlist and lead forms. You can reach us any time at privacy@mindspan.ai.
What we collect
Today, before we have launched our blood panel to the public, the information we collect is limited:
- Contact details you give us — your email address, and sometimes your first name and state — when you join our waitlist or submit a form (including forms served inside Meta/Instagram).
- Basic usage data — standard technical information such as your device type, browser, and general location, collected by our hosting and analytics providers to keep the site working and understand what resonates.
When our blood panel and personalized report become available, we will collect additional information you choose to provide (such as intake responses and, through our laboratory partners, lab results). That collection will be governed by an updated policy and its own consent, presented to you before any such information is gathered.
How we use it
- To tell you when mindspan becomes available in your state, and to respond to you.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and our offering.
- To measure and improve our advertising — for example, understanding which messages lead people to sign up.
We do not send unsolicited marketing beyond what you signed up for, and you can unsubscribe from any message in one click.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run mindspan, and only as needed:
- Hosting & database — providers such as Vercel and Supabase store the site and your contact details securely.
- Advertising platforms — when you submit a form through Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Meta processes that submission under its own terms and shares it with us; we may also use advertising tools to measure campaign performance.
- Email delivery — a provider that sends the messages you asked to receive.
- Legal — if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
We do not share your information with employers or insurers.
A note on health information
mindspan is a wellness service, not a medical diagnosis, and today we do not collect health information through this site. If and when we offer clinical services, any health-related information will receive additional protections and its own consent. Optional genetic testing, if offered in the future, will carry its own separate consent and safeguards.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing privacy@mindspan.ai.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information; we honor those rights.
Data retention & security
We keep your contact details for as long as you are on our waitlist or interested in mindspan, and we delete them on request. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Children
mindspan is intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as mindspan grows — especially as we launch the panel and report. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to let you know.
